Founded in 2022 by Cynthia Bell, Cicy Bell has come a long way from its beginnings in a small studio apartment. When Cynthia first started designing blazers and business wear, her goal was to create sophisticated yet comfortable pieces that made women feel confident, bold, and uncompromising. After gaining popularity locally for her unique designs that blended masculine and feminine elements, Cynthia opened the first Cicy Bell studio and started selling online.
Our Story
The Cicy Bell story begins with our founder, Cynthia Bell, who grew up loving fashion but struggled to find business clothing that was both professional and unique. She began designing and sewing her own blazers, pants, and jewelry while studying business in college. Cynthia found inspiration in menswear but wanted to create soft, feminine shapes and bold designs that celebrated women.
After graduating and struggling to find a company that shared her vision, Cynthia took matters into her own hands. She started Cicy Bell out of a small Brooklyn studio apartment in 2022. Soon after launching, her one-of-a-kind blazers and modern business wear earned rave reviews in local boutiques and fashion blogs.
Within a couple of years, Cicy Bell grew into a thriving ecommerce business that gave professional women across the country access to Cynthia’s designs. But we never lost sight of our fashion-forward Brooklyn roots, and opened our flagship brick-and-mortar store in Brooklyn in 2025. Since then, the Cicy Bell team and collection have expanded greatly. However, Cynthia still oversees every aspect of the business as creative director. Her leadership ensures every Cicy Bell garment upholds her original vision.

Our talented in-house design team sketches new styles and samples new fabrics and trims each season. They find inspiration from the latest runway trends then put their own spin on silhouettes and details. We focus on creating unique yet timeless pieces that fit and flatter a range of body types.
Careful Production
Once designs are finalized, they go into production at our network of third-party manufacturers. We only work with factories that share our values and standards. Our production team oversees manufacturing to ensure consistent quality across the board.
Quality Assurance
Before any piece reaches our customers, it goes through a thorough quality assurance process. We double check buttons, zippers, seams, and other construction details. We also try on samples and test for comfort and fit. If anything is less than perfect, it’s back to the drawing board.
